Blagny 23.44 ha Thierry Matrot Premier Cru Blagny includes all of the following sites: La Jeunellotte, La Pièce sous le Bois, Sous le Dos d’Ane, Sous Blagny, and Les Ravelles. Only white wines may be labeled Meursault Blagny Premier Cru.
  Origin of Name: „Blagny“ is likely derived from the name of Belenos, a Celtic god worshipped in pre-Christian Gaul.
 
Charmes 31.12 ha Robert Ampeau, Comtes Lafon, Bouchard, Bitouzet-Prieur, Guy Bocard, Guy Roulot, François Mikulski, Antoine Jobard Charmes includes the lieu-dit Les Charmes Dessus.
  Origin of Name: „Charmes“ is derived from the Latin calmis, or „pasture land.“ The vineyard lay fallow (en friche) for a period prior to being replanted.
 
Clos des Perrières 0.95 ha Albert Grivault, monopole This climat is located within Les Perrières. 
  Origin of Name: Le perrier was a worker who extracted stone from a quarry.

  Origin of Name: „Genevrières“, like genever, means „juniper“; juniper bushes used to grow on this site.

  Origin of Name: „Cras“ is derived from craie, or „chalk.“

  Origin of Name: „Les Gouttes d’Or“ literally translates to „drops of gold“; which flinty stones in the vineyard may recall in shape and color.
 
La Jeunellotte 5.05 ha   This Blagny vineyard only produces white wines as Meursault Premier Cru.
  Origin of Name: „Jeunellotte“ may be derived from the Latin juvenis, indicating young vines, or it may be derived from gallina („hen“). The vineyard is located near the woods in Blagny, a habitat for the animal.
 
La Pièce sous le Bois 11.15 ha   This Blagny vineyard only produces white wines as Meursault Premier Cru.
  Origin of Name: The vineyard parcel is located „below the woods.“
 
Les Plures 10.5 ha   This vineyard only produces white wines as Meursault Premier Cru. Red wines are labeled as Volnay Santenots Premier Cru. In the past, Les Plures was known as Les Petures.
  Origin of Name: „Plures“ is derived from pelure, or „peel.“ The vineyard was fallow for a time, and then it was „peeled“ and cultivated with the vine again.
 
Le Porusot 4.3 ha   Le Porusot is located within Porusot.
  Origin of Name: „Porusot“ derives from the Latin petrosa, or „stony.“
 
Les Ravelles 1.30 ha   This Blagny vineyard only produces white wines as Meursault Premier Cru.
  Origin of Name: „Les Ravelles“ is derived from ravin, or „ravine.“ The site’s steep slopes flow into a small ravine.
 
Les Santenots Blancs  2.9 ha   This vineyard only produces white wines as Meursault Premier Cru. Red wines are labeled as Volnay Santenots Premier Cru.
  Origin of Name: „Santenots“ is derived from the Latin sentes, or „bramble.“ „Blanc“ indicates the presence of stony, white soils in this parcel.
 
Les Santenots du Milieu 15.6 ha Comtes Lafon This vineyard only produces white wines as Meursault Premier Cru. Red wines are labeled as Volnay Santenots Premier Cru. In 1855, Dr. Jules Lavalle ranked this as the single „téte de cuvée“ vineyard in Meursault. Les Santenots du Milieu includes the 1.19-ha Clos des Santenots, which Jacques Prieur produces as a red Volnay Premier Cru monopole.
  Origin of Name: „Santenots“ is derived from the Latin sentes, or „bramble.“ This vineyard is the „middle of Santenots.“
 
Perrières 12.77 ha Robert Ampeau, Coche-Dury, Comtes Lafon, Thierry Matrot, Michel Bouzereau, Pierre Morey This vineyard includes the lieux-dits Les Perrières Dessus, Les Perrières Dessous, and Grivault’s monopole Clos des Perrières.
  Origin of Name: Le perrier was a worker who extracted stone from a quarry. Quarries are located throughout the Côte d’Or; hence the proliferation of climats named Les Perrières.

  Origin of Name: „Dos d’Ane“ means „the donkey’s back,“ in reference to the shape of the vineyard.
