Summary

Over the years, the Brovia family has acquired plots in some of the best vineyard sites in Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga d’Alba. They farm their vineyards with organic methodology, and take measures in the vineyard to increase grape quality including pruning to reduce yields. The family philosophy is to make wines that are all made in the same way, while reflecting the individual site in which the grapes originate.

Style & Vinification Techniques

Brovia is a very traditional producer. They typically ferment the Nebbiolo grapes for around a month, followed by ageing in large Slavonian oak for two years. The wines are bottled without filtration and spend another 18-24 months in bottle before release.
