Summary
Val delle Corti rests in a small valley below the Monte alla Croce. The estate was founded in 1974 by Giorgio and Eli Bianchi, who moved from Milan to Radda eager to grow grapes and make wine. When Giorgio passed away in 1999, his son, Roberto, took over the estate. Along with his wife Lis, Roberto continues to manage the winery today. Experimenting with macerations and ferments, he creates aromatic and structured wines. Poggio alla Croce, a nearby ancient Etruscan settlement that has been unearthed by an archaeological project, is believe to be one of the first places Vitis viniferawas domesticated in Italy.
