Summary
The original Bodegas Paternina was founded in 1896 by Federico Paternina. In 1922, he expanded his business by building a large and modern cellar. In 1984, the bodega was acquired in 1984 by Mark Eguizábal and passed hands again in 1994, when it was combined with International Bodegas de Jerez de la Frontera, having two main divisions. In September 1998 the company was listed on the Madrid stock exchange. It became part of the Marqués de la Concordia portfolio in 2014.
