Summary
Vérité, founded in 1998 by the late Jess Jackson, is one of the crown jewels in the Jackson Family Wines portfolio. Winemaker Pierre Seillan produces three wines each vintage, modeled on Bordeaux counterparts. „La Joie“ is a Cabernet-based expression, inspired by Pauillac; „La Muse“ and „Le Désir“ are Merlot- and Cabernet Franc-based blends influenced by the styles of Pomerol and St-Émilion, respectively. The wines, following a run of stellar vintages and intense critical praise, are in the upper echelon for both quality and price in California. „La Joie“ is currently the single most expensive Cabernet bottling produced from Sonoma County fruit.
