Summary

The estate is run by brother’s Didier and Pascal who took over the property from their father, Gilbert. They are the most notable estate in the village of Chichée which lies south of Chablis in between the Premier Cru vineyards Vosgros on the left bank of the Serein river and Vaucopin on the right bank. The prize of their vineyard holdings are the Premiers Crus; the lieux-dits Vaudécorse which is right south of Vaucopin; and their parcels of 50 plus year old vines that they use for the Vielles Vignes Chablis.

Style & Vinification Techniques

Didier and Pascal practice Lutte Raisonée in their vineyards, and pick mostly by hand. The Picq brothers purchased a sorting table in 2006. Since this time they have moved away from inoculating with commercial yeast. Alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation occur in stainless steel cuve. There is no oak used at this domaine.
