Summary

The Château des Jacques estate, located in the Moulin-à-Vent appellation, was purchased by Louis Jadot in 1996. Jadot continued vineyard expansion in 2001 with the purchase of a vineyard in Morgon. Both vineyards were regrouped under Château des Jacques Estates in 2008. Winemaker Cyril Chirouze applies Burgundian winemaking methods, including long barrel aging following fermentation.

Style & Vinification Techniques

Grapes are hand-harvested, then put through a mechanical sorting table followed by hand sorting prior to vinification. Grapes are de-stemmed and transferred to stainless steel tanks where fermentation begins from indigenous yeasts. Wines age in barrel for 10 months following fermentation.
