Summary

Founded in 1997, Doña Paula is the Argentine project of Chilean wine group Claro, which owns Carmen and Santa Rita. Upon its establishment, Edgardo del Pópolo was hired to lead the production team; he continues to consult for Doña Paula. David Bonomi is now winemaker. With four properties located across Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley, Doña Paula makes its wines exclusively from estate fruit.

Style & Vinification Techniques

Grapes for the top wines are hand-harvested and often undergo a pre- or post-fermentation extended maceration. The top wines are aged in 50% new French oak barrels.
