Summary

Brothers and Mendoza natives Héctor and Pablo Durigutti crafted their first wine together under their eponymous label in 2002. Previously, Héctor had worked for Altos las Hormigas, as well as Bodegas Gancia in Chile, while Pablo served as winemaker at Bodega Santa Jimena. The Duriguttis acquired five hectares in Las Compuertas in 2007, which they named Finca Victoria after their mother, and the following year, they jointly purchased a winery space to be shared with Guillermo Lamadrid of Lamadrid Wines. In addition to their family winery, Héctor and Pablo run a winemaking and vineyard management consulting business.

Style & Vinification Techniques

Fermentations rely on native yeasts and take place in a combination of stainless steel, epoxy-lined concrete vats, concrete eggs, and foudres. Many of the top wines are aged in used oak vessels.
