Summary

The estate has been in the Tramblay family for five generations. It is run today by Gérard, his wife Hélène, and their son Vincent. They produce one Grand Cru wine from Vaudésir, and a handful of Premiers Crus. When they took over management in 1973 the estate consisted of 12 ha., today they have 34. This is a larger estate in comparison to the other notable domaine of Poinchy, Laurent Tribut.

Style & Vinification Techniques

All of the vineyards are harvest by machine save for the Vaudésir, which is hand-harvested. The wines ferment in stainless steel vats. For the Chablis and Petite Chablis the wines stay on their lees in stainless steel, for the Premier Cru the wines see 20% oak aging, and for the Vaudésir the wines see 30% oak aging.
