Summary

Domaine Pascal Granger has been run by the Granger family for over 200 years, successively passed down from father to son. The domaine today farms 14 hectares primarily in Juliénas and neighboring villages, with wines made in the Cellier de la Vieille Eglise, the old Juliénas church that was unused since the 14th century. Farming is both manual and mechanical, and chemical treatments in the vineyards are minimal.

Style & Vinification Techniques

Grapes are hand-harvested and ferment in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wines age in steel or oak depending on parcel; they are bottled in the spring following harvest (with the exception of the “Grande Réserve”). The „Cuvée Spéciale“ ages in small oak barrels and large foudres, and the “Grande Réserve” ages in small oak barrels for two years.
