Summary
SuperUco, founded in 2012, is the brainchild of winemaking brothers Matias, Gabriel, Juan Pablo, and Gerardo Michelini, who also worked together in Mendoza at Zorzal and Passionate (with the exception of Gabriel). SuperUco sits on a two-hectare property planted in a circle, allowing for 360-degree sun exposure, with the octagonal production facility at the center. The vineyard is farmed biodynamically.
Style & Vinification Techniques
The vineyards are farmed biodynamically. A combination of wood and cement vessels are used for vinification, and fermentation relies on native yeasts.
