Summary

Villa Cafaggio is nestled within the Conca d’Oro of Panzano and enjoys long, full days of sun. The estate was owned by the Benedictine monks in the 15th century, then passed through the hands of several families, including the Farkas family, who renovated the cellars and replanted the vineyards in 1967. Today, Villa Cafaggio is owned by financial holding company Istituto Atesino di Sviluppo S.p.A.

Style & Vinification Techniques

Wines are fermented in stainless steel vats with temperature control. A mix of cultured and ambient yeasts is used. All of the wines are made with a single grape variety—no blends are produced.
