  • Côtes du Roussillon „Caramany“: Min. 2 varieties.  Min. 80% combined Grenache (max. 70%), Carignan (max. 60%), and Syrah (40-70%); plus Lladoner Pelut
  • Côtes du Roussillon „Latour-de-France“: Min. 2 varieties.  Min. 80% combined Grenache (max. 70%), Carignan (max. 60%), Syrah and Mourvédre (max. 70% each, min. 30% combined): plus Lladoner Pelut 
  • Côtes du Roussillon „Lesquerde“: Min. 2 varieties.  Min. 80% combined Grenache (max. 70%), Carignan (max. 60%), and Syrah (30-70%); plus Lladoner Pelut
  • Côtes du Roussillon „Tautavel“: Min. 2 varieties.  Min. 80% combined Grenache (max. 70%), Carignan (max. 50%), Syrah and Mourvédre (max. 70% each, min. 30% combined): plus Lladoner Pelut (min. 20% combined Lladoner Pelut and Grenache)

Additional Requirements

  • For Caramany and Lesquerde, Carignan must be vinified by carbonic maceration

Élevage

  • Côtes du Roussillon Villages/Caramany/Latour-de-France/Lesquerde: Wines may not be released until February 15 of the year following the harvest
  • Tautavel: Wines may not be released until October 1 of the year following the harvest

Minimum Planting Density

  • 4,000 vines per hectare

Maximum Yield (Rendement de Base)

  • Côtes du Roussillon Villages: 45 hl/ha
  • Côtes du Roussillon Villages (with subzone designation): 42 hl/ha
