Grapes Varieties

Minimum Alcohol

  • Rosato: 11%
  • Rosso: 12%
  • Rosso Riserva 12.5%

Minimum Total Acidity

  • 4.5 g/l

Aging Requirements

  • Rosato: Wines may be released on March 1 of the year after harvest.
  • Rosso: Wines must be aged for min. 12 months from November 1 of the year of harvest.
  • Rosso Riserva: Wines must be aged for min. 24 months, including min. 6 months in wood, from November 1 of the year of harvest.

Minimum Planting Density

  • 3,000 vines per hectare

Maximum Yields

  • 12 tons/ha
