- Valençay wines may use the geographical designation „Val de Loire“ on the label
Assemblage
- Blanc: Sauvignon Blanc must be the sole variety in the blend, or it must account for the majority of the blend.
- Rosé/Rouge: All three principal varieties must be present in the blend.
- Under the ‚Transitional Measures‘, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon have a combined 20% Max.
