Summary
Oddero uses a combination of traditional and modern techniques, blending knowledge from their long history with modern day know how. They maintain the traditional practice of ageing their wine in large oak botti with lengthy macerations, while employing modern state of the art technology. They count their vineyards as some of the sunniest in the Langhe, covering some of the top sites in Serralunga d’Alba, Castiglione Falletto, La Morra, and Monforte d’Alba. Currently, the 6th generation leads the winery, with sisters Mariacristina and Mariavittoria at the helm.
Style & Vinification Techniques
Oddero uses a combination of traditional and modern techniques. Wines are fermented in stainless steel and oak, and are aged in a combination of French, Slavonian, and Austrian oak barrels.
