Aging Requirements
- Rosso Riserva: Wines must be aged min. 18 months, including min. 12 months in wood and min. 6 months in bottle, from December 1 of the year of harvest.
- Spumante/Spumante Rosato: Wines must be made by the traditional method (metodo classico), and must spend min. 9 months on the lees.
Minimum Planting Density
- 4,000 vines per hectare
Maximum Yields
- Bianco/Gaglioppo/Greco Nero/Mantonico: 12 tons/ha
- Rosato/Rosso: 11 tons/ha
- Greco Bianco/Rosso Riserva/Spumante/Spumante Rosato/Passito: 10 tons/ha
