Episode 504 – Julien Mingot from Chateau Marechaux Pure wines of Libourne
From the low sulphur, single varietal Pure range we taste the 100% Cabernet Franc 2016 vintage. Julien has produced the range in response to consumer demand for low sulphite wines. They did the first test in 2012 with Merlot, which produced excellent results and did two more vintages in 2014/2015 with Merlot. Julien tells us the wine from 2012 is still drinking well after 4 years. You can buy the wines from the Humble Grape in London.
