Episode 537 – Rathfinny Estate Revisited with Mark Driver Part 1
In this first interview of three, re-visiting Rathfinny Estate, we catch up with owner Mark Driver. He talks us through the progress they have made since they started planting the first vines back in 2012. 2015 was their first respectable harvest and 2016 was better, but 2017 has been 3 times the size, so they are in a very good place.

We talk about the vines, how they have planted them out and used different trellising techniques according to location of vines and depth of soil. We also cover wind protection and how they have fared during this year’s frosts.
