In particular we discuss the new Optic sorting tables and whether machine harvesting and optic sorting is as good a hand harvesting. Stanislav has recently replanted some of his vineyards with new grape varieties – we discuss the reasons for choosing certain varieties such as Malbec, and why, with some of the very old vines of more than 50 years old, he has chosen not to replant but continue on with because the quality and quantity is still very good.
